Atika Al-Bimani is working for Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) for the last 26 years. During her earlier career life in PDO, she was working as a Production Technologist in Petroleum Engineering Discipline in Oil & Gas wells in Oman & in Brunei. In her career, she has led some Well Delivery team (Well & Reservoir Management teams), ESP team & Technical Focus Team. Currently, in her role as ESP-Subject Matter Expert (ESP-SME) for PDO & Shell Global, she is a technical advisor for ESPs in PDO, giving in-house ESP Training to PDO’s staff & responsible for ESP development programs. She provides support / advice to other Shell OUs on Artificial Lift related projects in particular on ESPs. She has authored & presented many Papers on Production Technologist fields focusing on Artificial Lift, ESP & New Technologies applications. She serves as a Technical Committee for ESP Workshop in Houston & regionally for SPE Artificial Lift Conference and MEALF.
